We will have a class on Saturday morning at 10:00 for approximately two hours. Lou Travis will be teaching us how to do a double knit button band and button holes. It’s beautiful finished and professional look is well worth the time spent on making this button band. You will need to make and block a swatch approximately 6-7 inches long and about 3 to 4 inches wide. Needle size for the class will be 3 sizes smaller than used for the swatch. Lou will not be charging a fee but has asked that class participants make a donation to the Our Lady of Peace Retreat Center. There will be a donation jar for whatever amount you wish to give. You’ll be able to sign up for the class when you register so Lou knows how many to plan for.

There will be time for yarn shopping, taking walks on the retreat grounds, and lots of time for knitting and visiting with other guild members. We will also have a yarn swap so plan on bringing your de-stash items.

Saturday evening we will have a fashion show for the Sisters at Our Lady of Peace so plan on bringing two or three projects you want to share.

Check In: Noon on Friday (lunch not provided)
Departure: Sunday by noon
Cost: $245 (includes two nights, dinner Friday, three meals Saturday, brunch on Sunday)
Registration begins on July 19 and closes at midnight Friday September 27.

Please indicate on the registration form if you have any special food requirements or any allergies and if you require a handicap room. The retreat center has single rooms and they share a toilet and shower so please indicate if you have a preferred roommate.
