World-Wide Knit in Public Day is on June 13th and we have a planned gathering place at Wool for the People, Mill and Dyehouse.

Wool for the People will be open from 10am-4pm on World-Wide Knit in Public Day, June 13th. They will hold guided mill tours at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. You are encouraged to bring a chair for hanging out to knit or spin.

Wool for the People is offering a secret mystery colorway to the Tigard Knitting Guild, available for pre-order and pickup on WWKIPD at the Mill.  This is the link for the mystery colorway: Wool for the People WWKIPD Colorway

Super secret mystery colorways, dyed up for World Wide Knit in Public Day 2026. Two options of colorways: Semi-Solid or Variegated. These colorways will coordinate, so if you cannot decide, get both! These skeins will be available for pickup in person at the Mill and Dyehouse on June 13th from 10am-4pm for our World Wide Knit in Public Day open house!

We will be helping Wool for the People grow the support for their Mill and the services they plan on bringing to the Pacific Northwest. World Wide Knit in Public Day provides us a wonderful opportunity to gather together as well as learn about this new resource for fiber artists in our region. Put a place down on your calendar and I hope you can join us.
